150AC Compact Electric Tow Tug

The 150AC is a robust, highly manoeuvrable electric towing vehicle designed for moving loads of up to 1,500 kg safely and efficiently. The vehicle also provides a 150 kg carrying capacity, allowing the operator to transport smaller items on the tug while towing.

Powerful Electric Drive

At the heart of the 150AC is an advanced AC brushless motor, equipped with a speed encoder and temperature sensor. Power is managed by a 200A AC controller designed to meet EEC directives and safety requirements.

A substantial 300Ah, 12-cell battery provides extended operating times, making the 150AC suitable for demanding day-to-day use. Charging is straightforward thanks to the automatic onboard charger, which connects to a standard 13A wall socket. An integrated cut-out relay prevents the vehicle from being driven while connected to mains power.

Designed for Operator Safety

The 150AC incorporates a range of safety features as standard. A slow move-off speed provides greater control when operating indoors, while a stall feature and brake cut-off system help provide controlled operation. When the brake is applied, controller power is cut to prevent simultaneous acceleration and braking.

Braking is provided by lever-operated twin rear hydraulic mini disc brakes, together with an automatic magnetic parking brake. An emergency stop is fitted as standard, while a roll-bar-mounted beacon and adjustable multi-tone reversing buzzer further improve awareness around the vehicle.

Simple, Intuitive Controls

The 150AC uses foot-pedal acceleration combined with lever-operated hydraulic braking, providing a straightforward driving arrangement for the operator.

The dashboard incorporates sealed rocker switches and an LCD e-gauge display, providing key operating information including vehicle speed, battery charge level, lighting and direction indication. Indicator and horn controls are also conveniently positioned for the operator.

Durable, Low-Maintenance Design

The 150AC runs on 4.00 × 4 solid elastic, non-puncture wheels, helping minimise downtime associated with tyre punctures. A low 325 mm step height provides convenient operator access, while the 950 mm wheelbase contributes to its compact overall dimensions.

The vehicle can be finished in your choice of one RAL colour, allowing it to match company branding, fleet colours or site requirements.
