PC-4 + 2

The PC-4 is a stylish four-seat electric buggy with two front seats and two rear seats, so the driver can bring three passengers along in comfort. The rear seats make it ideal for taking guests, visitors and staff around golf courses, resorts, hotels, holiday parks, estates and events, without needing a larger vehicle. At just 1,215 mm wide and 3,240 mm long, with a tight 4.3 m turning radius, it is easy to manoeuvre on narrow paths and around buildings. It runs on a 48 V AC drive, with a top speed adjustable between 24 and 45 km/h (15 to 28 mph) to suit the site, a range of up to 80 km (50 miles) and the ability to climb gradients of up to 25%.

Motor and battery options

Three AC motors are available:

• 4 kW rated (5.44 hp), 9.6 kW peak (13 hp)
• 6 kW rated (8.2 hp), 12.46 kW peak (16.95 hp)
• 10 kW rated (13.6 hp), 22.43 kW peak (30.5 hp)

Three battery packs are available:

• Lead-acid: 8 x 6 V (11.52 kWh), with an onboard charger. Up to 80 km (50 miles) of range, charging to 80% in 7 hours and fully in 9 hours.
• Lithium 10.8 kWh: with a 3.3 kW onboard charger. Up to 80 km (50 miles) of range, charging to 80% in 4 hours and fully in 6 hours.
• Lithium 5.4 kWh: with a 3.3 kW onboard charger. Up to 55 km (34 miles) of range, charging to 80% in 3 hours and fully in 5 hours.

Chassis and running gear

• Chassis: automotive-style steel frame with high corrosion resistance, protected by sanding, e-coating, wet paint and PVC coating
• Front suspension: fully independent MacPherson strut
• Rear suspension: semi-independent swing arm with coil springs over hydraulic shock absorbers, for a smooth ride for rear-seat passengers
• Steering: self-compensating, double-reduction helical rack and pinion that needs no lubrication, with electric power steering available as an option
• Brakes: hydraulic drum brakes on all four wheels, with an electromagnetic parking brake

Body and colours

The body is made from tough thermoplastic ABS, coloured through the material rather than just on the surface. It comes in white, midnight blue or black as standard, with a custom colour available on request.
